Cattle
* Basics of working cattle in a low-key, comfortable, fun atmosphere.
* Cow'ssage ~ western dressage to train & condition your horse for cattle.
* Cow Intro I rider skills, horse training drills...and introducing your horse to cattle.
* Cow Intro II more advanced horse/rider skills on cattle (Prerequisite: Intro I).
* Cattle Work basics for competitions like the Cow phase of Working Equitation
& Ranch Sorting (Prerequisites: Intro I & II, or equivalent experience)
Riding Patterns & Tests
* Cow'ssage ~ principles & practices of working dressage & cowboy dressage for riding lower-level patterns/tests . . . for training & competition . . . or just for fun!
*Working Equitation introduction to the patterns and skills for effectively riding show tests of the lower-levels of Working Equitation (Walk/Trot & Novice Rider/Horse)
* Western Dressage / Cowboy Dressage introduction to the patterns and skills for effectively riding the USEF-approved (lower-level) tests of the Western Dressage Association.
Competitive Obstacles
* Cow'ssage to prepare your horse and train for the skills & elements of obstacles. E.g., body control for you and your horse, sidepass, pivots, turns on forehand, backing, leg yields, counter-bending, geometry of obstacles. Practice also desensitizes your horse to new "things" and builds trust, confidence and a sense of team between the two of you!
* Working Equitation obstacles based on European cattle-working traditions. Skills and showmanship for negotiating lower-level elements in the Ease of Handling & Speed phases.
* Obstacle Showmanship whether you like Working Equitation, Ranch Versatility Trial, ACTHA rides, or Mountain Trail shows . . . polished skills and showmanship separate the competition.
