COW'SSAGE® (combines Dressage & Stock Horse skills in cowboy-style dressage)
Like their human counterparts, equine athletes are more successful when physically prepared, mentally confident ~ and are performing under strong leadership. Cow'ssage ® lays a foundation for Working Equitation/Versatility, Cattle events, Trail, etc. The work supples, strengthens and balances the horse. Riders gain better skills. And, thru increased confidence & a better understanding of the game, horse & rider become a stronger team. Equine strength & conditioning is also a component. Beginners & horses/riders of all breeds and disciplines are welcome!

CATTLE ~ Intro & Intermediate
Classes range from Intro level for you and your horse's first introduction to cattle and learning basic cow skills...with safety and fun in mind!

Intermediate classes lay the foundation skills and strategies for events such as Working Versatility & Cow Games, and Ranch Sorting & Team Penning. All classes include horsemanship (from beginner to advanced) to improve both horses and abilities, as well as elements of equine conditioning, care of the competition horse, equipment, etc.

Intro Classesno prior cattle experience is required.

Intermediate: A good foundation of horsmanship and control of your horse is important. Horses should know their basics, be obedient & and have already been introduced to cattle. Prior Cow'ssage® Cow Intro classes (or equivalent cattle experience) strongly recommended.
